Breakfast
Apple and plum compote
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”espacio-recetas”]- Few drops lemon juice
- cinnamon stick optional
- 3 dessert apples
- 6 plums
METHOD
1. Wash the fruit well but don’t peel it as a lot of vitamins sit just underneath the skin.
2. Core the apples , stone the plums and chop them in regular size slices. Put them in a pan with a splash of water, lemon juice and the cinnamon stick if using.
3. Slowly bring to the boil and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes until the fruit is soft enough to mash them with the back of a spoon. Mash with a spoon, fork or blend in a food processor, depending on what texture you need.
4. This fruit compote can be frozen in little pots and used to mix with cereal or yogurt for babies
