Pacifier: Before each use wash with lukewarm water and neutral detergent, rinse well, then sterilize in boiling water for 5 minutes (do not wash in dishwasher). During sterilization the nipple can become full of water (which can be extracted by pressing the nipple); this is normal and responds to the pacifiers’ nipple design so it can better adapt to your baby’s mouth cavity.
Holder and Teether: Wash with water and neutral detergent. Do not sterilize.
Finger tooth Brush: Before each use (and before the first time you use it) wash it with water and mild soap, rinse it well and then sterilize it in boiling water during 5 minutes. Let it cool down before using it again.
Pacifier: Warning: To prevent a possible risk of choking, please check the pacifier nipple every day, especially when your baby’s first teeth start to appear. If the pacifier nipple is sticky, enlarged, cracked or shows other signs of excessive wear, replace the pacifier immediately. Do not cover the nipple with sweet substances (syrup, honey, marmalade, etc.) this can lead to tooth decay.
Holder: Fasten the chains end to the pacifier and the clip to your baby’s clothes.
Check the clip before using it; if you find signs of wear such as cracks, breaks or other, replace with a new one. We do not recommend fastening the clip to laces, ribbons or loose parts of clothes. Do not try to increase the length of the ribbon by any means, as this could result into a possible accident. We do not recommend using the clip when your baby is sleeping. It is important to adjust the clip well, but not excessively, since in case the clip pulls from the baby, the clip should be easily released. Do not use ribbons or straps to hold the pacifier around the baby’s neck: this can represent a risk of strangulation.
Teether: For best results, cool the teether in the fridge (not in freezer or deep freezer) and then give it to the baby to bite. The teether is to be used until first teeth erupt. Once these teeth are firm, everything the baby is given to put in its mouth has to be carefully checked to prevent small bits being swallowed by the baby.
Finger Tooth Brush: With clean hands, place the brush on your forefinger. Be careful when brushing your baby’s teeth and massaging its gums. Use the brush only with water. Do not use toothpaste until the dentist indicates to do so. Your baby can use this brush until all the baby teeth are out; then change to a toothbrush with soft bristles. This brush is not a toy. Check there are neither silicone bristles in bad condition nor cracks. If any signs of tear and wear appear, replace the brush.
