Babelito is a family-owned business founded as a response to the concerns of a couple expecting their first child and as the result of the lack of products in the market that would help them in bringing up their children properly. To fill this gap and meet these needs, we started shaping our first products. We launched our first product into the market in 1971; we have incorporated childcare products during four decades. Our distinctive feature is that we offer useful, innovative, safe products for you and your baby.

We have maintained that family emblem, always aware of the needs of babies and parents.

Our sales evolution can be divided into the three stages: initial; of sustained growth; and expansion toward foreign markets. The initial stage was characterized by the introduction of basic baby products under the same design influence and always within the framework of baby and mother’s needs: feeding, breastfeeding, hygiene, playing and safety.

Later, we entered a period of sustained growth, with great identification and recognition from parents which motivated us to be the number-one brand in Argentina for small child care products.From the 1980s, we started our expansion toward foreign markets where we became a leading company in a really short time. This process led us to the present expansion stage: we increased our product offering; we incorporated new technologies and improved the value of our products in every sense.
