Before each use, including the first use, it is important that, prior to sterilization, you wash all parts separately with warm water and neutral detergent, and that you rinse them well. Then sterilize all parts in boiling water for 5 minutes. These bottles are dishwasher safe. When cleaning the teat with a brush or sponge, do not go through the suction hole as it could tear. Store the bottle away from heat and direct light. Do not use harsh detergents, rough or metal sponges to clean bottles, as they will damage the surface of the bottle.
When you assemble the bottle, place the teat through the bottom of the screw ring and pull upwards, until you hear a “click”. Make sure the bottle is properly assembled before using it. Remember to shake the bottle after heating to homogenize the temperature of the food. Don’t forget to always check the temperature of the food before giving it to your baby. If you heat the bottle in hot water, dry it thoroughly before giving it to your baby. Do not overheat the food: this could cause burns. If you shake the bottle abruptly or if it is inverted, some drops may spill. Ask your paediatrician about the best way to store, heat, and transport your baby’s food.
